I’ve always had a natural interest in business and a dream of running multiple companies. My career in finance began in 2005, working for a local government agency where I learned the ins and outs of accounting and record keeping. I also took advantage of any and all training to become an Excel expert! During this time, I earned my BA in International Business and Spanish from Florida Atlantic University in 2009.

The turning point in my career came during my maternity leave with my second child. While at home, I started exploring part-time bookkeeping opportunities in fields that piqued my interest. To my surprise, the algorithms seemed to align with my aspirations and led me to courses on starting a bookkeeping business. That’s when Busy G Bookkeeping Solutions was born in January 2020.

After returning to full-time work, I was fortunate enough to be offered a position with QuickBooks, which provided me with invaluable on-the-job training and significantly enhanced my skills in bookkeeping. I now hold certifications in several major accounting software programs.

I’m not just passionate about bookkeeping and accounting—I’m equally dedicated to educating business owners. My mission is to do more than just manage finances; I strive to empower entrepreneurs by helping them understand the intricacies of their businesses, improve profitability, and develop strong leadership skills. I believe in equipping entrepreneurs with the tools they need to not only manage their finances but to thrive as leaders in their industries.

I live on Florida’s beautiful east coast with my husband and two children. When I’m not busy with work, you can find me enjoying my hobbies, including crafting, watching my kids play baseball, or spending time at the beach. I’m also a big fan of brunch and coffee chats with friends and fellow business owners—there’s always something valuable to learn from those conversations.

My commitment to education comes from a desire to contribute to the broader success of the business community here on the Treasure Coast, one empowered entrepreneur at a time.
